This is the tenth time that Henkel has presented its annual report on safety, health and the environment in parallel with its Annual Report. With this year's report, Henkel has made the transition to a sustainability report.

This Sustainability Report 2000 expands the concept of previous reports. In addition to safety, health and environment, it takes a more detailed look at the subject of social responsibility. The emphasis is on products designed for sustainability. They offer greater customer benefit, bring ecological advances, and represent a step forward for society in general. The examples in this report show how Henkel creates competitive advantages with such products.
