Henkel has received an environment online award in gold for its sustainability pages on the Internet. This award is issued monthly by B.A.U.M. e.V. as a seal of quality for modern and successful environmental communication on the Internet. Henkel is the first major company to receive this award in gold. At the same time it scored the second best rating of the 40 Internet sites to be honored in this way.

B.A.U.M. assesses the layout and handling of the Internet pages as well as the environmental policy, ecological aspects of the products and services offered, and the measures taken by the companies to avoid environmental burdens.
